Tata Asri's founders are closed friends, Aya ( Chandraleika MM ) and Watje ( Kusuma Indreswari ), who graduated together from Innen-Architecture at Blocherer-Schule, Germany in the mid-70's.
Returning in Indonesia, they joined together with other friends establishing PT. Penilaras, until they finally build their dreams from scratch in the early 80's by establishing a small studio, which is the brainchild of PT. Tata Asri.
This close relationship has been the foundation of trust and teamwork, which also reflects in the close relationship we've been having with our clients. This is why Aya and Watje believe that they have to personally attend and translate our clients need and bring them to creation.
